Saint Louis Trip

Last weekend, Julie and I took a short vacation to St. Louis, Missouri. We chose to go to St. Louis because neither of us had spent much time there and we could see a lot of the city without renting a car. We went to two baseball games and watched the Colorado Rockies defeat the Cardinals. It was funny for us to witness fans who were very upset seeing their team lose in a blowout fashion. This is just a way of life watching the Rangers! We also visited and went up the Gateway Arch. Julie was very reticent to take the ride, but we made it and had a great view of the city from the observation area. We also toured Forest Park on bicycles because this city park is larger than Central Park in New York. This was also the main staging area for the 1904 World's Fair which is known by our pack as the event where the ice cream cone was invented. The dogs and Grace were very happy to see us when we returned.
